MY STORY

Hi, happy to see you here!

I’m Tanya, a photographer based in Iceland. Originally I am from Ukraine but back in 2019 I met an Icelandic man who was visiting my country, fell in love with him and ended up moving to Iceland, marrying him, becoming a dog owner and shortly after a mom.

My camera saved me on maternity leave where somewhere between sleepless nights and screaming days, I decided to capture moments of our life, not always perfect, nor fun but true and precious in their own way.

That journey brought me where I am today, with experience of hundreds of photoshoots, meeting so many different people with their unique moments, sharing happiest or hardest days of their life. 

I focus on capturing real moments in a natural and relaxed way, without too much posing or pressure. I work mostly with couples, families and small weddings — often with people visiting Iceland who want to remember their time here in a simple and honest way.

Iceland offers incredible landscapes, but the most important part for me is always the people and the connection between them. My goal is to create photos that feel like you and bring you back to those moments.
